Welcome to a very rough beta version of what we hope to become an important feature of Scrub Radio; Scrub Radio Bands! The goal of this section is to allow bands and DJs to better connect with each other, and to give the Bands played on Scrub Radio the extra attention they deserve.

This is still in a very early stage, so please bare with us. As time goes by, the format will be changed and new features will be added.

In this section of the site, members who are logged in can create band pages for any bands that they are officially allowed to represent. On each band page you can add various information, additional Band Members and even connect the Band Members you add with their Scrub Radio Accounts (if they have one).

There are hidden fields to fill out that will only be viewable to the DJs where you can give special instructions for obtaining your music so that they can play you on the air.

Here is a brief list of some features planned for the near future:

• Band News, Events and Album Lists
• A Band's "Fans" will be listed on the Band Pages
• DJs that are currently playing a band will show up on the Band Pages
• Bands will be able to "Notify" a DJ on the DJ's Profile Page of their music and interest in the DJ's show

We will also be adding more Genres and external "Band Link" fields. We also hope to provide multiple layout templates that you can choose from for your pages, as well as multiple Style Sheets. But that will take a lot of time to develop.

Anyway, if you officially represent a band, please take some time and create a Band Page! Any questions or suggestions are always welcome! You can post them in This Thread.

Be sure to check out that topic from time to time as it will be updated with new information regarding the new Band Pages.

You can still access the old Submit Your Music system if you need to.

Attention Bands

We are now allowing all bands to upload tracks on their own. You can find the link "UPLOAD/MANAGE SONGS" just bellow the "About The Band" section of your page, which is above the "DJs Playing This Band" and "Fans Of This Band". You can also find it in the top link chain when editing your band (Just bellow "Editing the Band {Your Band}" and just above "Upload Band Picture").

DJs can upload songs to your band page as well, but only if they have specific permission from you. If you find that a DJ has uploaded tracks in your name without your permission, please contact an admin. All tracks uploaded will display the name of the user who uploaded the track.

The soul purpose for this feature is so that the DJs can easily get ahold of your music to play on the air. Your tracks will be viewable by you, your band members and the DJs ONLY.
